This spectacular redbud was recently introduced in 2020 by NC State University. The Flame Thrower is a hybrid of burgundy and golden redbuds, showcasing up to five colors (burgundy, red, orange, yellow, lime) on each branch. Like most redbuds, it’s low maintenance, tolerates full sun with minimal leaf scorch, but prefers some afternoon shade NOTE: If this tree does not fit in the box, its top will be cut.
